When God Is Your Only Option, Everything Changes

There are moments in life when we have to make a choice.

We can worry or trust.

We can give up or keep going.

We can follow the crowd or follow God.

And sometimes the most powerful decision we can make is simply this:

God is my only option.

That doesn't mean life suddenly becomes easy. It means that when life becomes difficult, we know where we will turn.

Choosing God When Life Gets Hard

It's easy to say we trust God when everything is going well.

But what happens when the answer doesn't come when we expect it?

What happens when the door closes?

What happens when we're waiting, uncertain, disappointed, or afraid?

Those are the moments when our faith becomes more than words.

Choosing God means saying:

"Lord, I don't understand everything that is happening, but I still trust You."

We may not know what tomorrow will bring, but we don't have to face tomorrow alone.

Sometimes we treat God like the last place we go after we've tried everything else.

We make our own plans.

We ask everyone else for advice.

We worry.

We try to control the outcome.

And then, when nothing works, we say, "God, I need You."

But what if we started with God instead?

What if prayer came before panic?

What if faith came before fear?

What if we allowed God to guide our decisions instead of asking Him to simply bless the decisions we've already made?
